T industry body launched ( TEECI) Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry
Hyderabad: With an aim to espouse the cause of industrialists from Telangana region, the Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TECCI) has been launched on Wednesday.
TRS MLA K T Rama Rao, who unveiled the new industry body, urged industrialists from Telangana to develop TECCI into an eminent industry body on the lines of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). M Venkateswarlu, Managing Director, RDF Power Gen Limited, has been elected president of the body. Y Jaihind Reddy, Managing Director, Jaihind Constructions Private Limited, is the vice-president, while D Ashok Kumar, Proprietor, Mahalaxmi Gas Agency, is the secretary.
The newly-formed industry body has also launched its website www.Tecci.rg which has information on the industrial sector in the region. In the objectives listed out on the website, TECCI stated that it would focus on small, medium and major Industries, besides power, agriculture, trade and government related issues.

The body will soon organise a roundtable conference to review the prevailing situation and adopt measures to develop industrial sector in Telangana.
