హైదరాబాద్, ఆగస్టు 7 : ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ కోరేవారు దేశద్రోహులంటూ శ్రీకృష్ణ కమిటీ ఎదుట చెప్పిన సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులపై తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు తీవ్రస్థాయిలో విరుచుకుపడ్డారు. వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలంటూ అధిష్ఠానానికి ఫిర్యాదు చేసేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్నారు. పొన్నాల లక్ష్మయ్య సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులపై విరుచుకుపడ్డారు. దీనిపై అధిష్ఠానానికి ఫిర్యాదు చేస్తానని తన సన్నిహితుల వద్ద పేర్కొన్నారు.

'మా ప్రాంతాన్ని మాకు వదిలి పెట్టండి మహాప్రభో అంటే దేశద్రోహమా? బలవంతాన తాళి కడతాం.. మీరు కట్టించుకోండి అన్నట్లుగా ఉంది. కలిసి ఉంచాలంటే తప్పేమీ లేదు. కానీ.. దేశద్రోహం అనడం సరికాదు. తెలంగాణ గురించి మాట్లాడేందుకు వారికేం హక్కుంది?' అని డీకే అరుణ ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తంచేశారు. 'తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం 55 ఏళ్ల పోరాటం. ప్రజల మనోభావాలను, ఆకాంక్షలను అర్థం చేసుకోవాలి.

ఇలా కించపరచడం వారి ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని దెబ్బతీయడమే. సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులు తక్షణమే క్షమాపణ చెప్పాలి' అని మంత్రి నాగేందర్ అన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్‌లో రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు వి.హనుమంతరావు శనివారం విలేఖరులతో మాట్లాడుతూ .. సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులు తాము ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రాన్ని కోరడమే భారతజాతిని అవమానించినట్లు.. దేశద్రోహానికి పాల్పడినట్లుగా నివేదికలు ఇవ్వడం ఏంటని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తంచేశారు. తమను దేశ ద్రోహులుగా చిత్రీకరించినప్పుడు తమతో ఎలా ఉండగలరని నిలదీశారు.

1956లోనే తాము అమాయకులమని.. తెలివైన సీమాం«ద్రులతో కలసి బతకలేమని తేల్చి చెప్పామన్నారు. విద్యాబుద్ధులు నేర్పించి ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు కల్పిస్తామని హామీలు గుప్పించారని అన్నారు. తమను వదిలేయాలని ప్రాధేయపడినా, అన్ని సదుపాయాలూ కల్పిస్తామని నమ్మబలికారని అన్నారు. సీమాంధ్ర ప్రాంతంవారు సీఎంలుగా పాలించి.. తెలంగాణ ప్రాంతానికి తీవ్ర అన్యాయం చేశారని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. తమ పాలన తాము చేసుకుంటామని.. ఇకనైనా విడిచిపెట్టాలని వీహెచ్ అన్నారు.

ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రం కోరేవారు దేశ ద్రోహులని సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులు పేర్కొనడం ద్వారా రాజ్యాంగానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా వ్యవహరించారని కాంగ్రెస్ సీనియర్ నేత పాల్వాయి గోవర్దన్‌రెడ్డి పేర్కొన్నారు. గత ఏడాది డిసెంబర్ 9న తెలంగాణ ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభమైందంటూ ప్రకటించిన కేంద్ర హోం మంత్రి చిదంబరం కూడా దేశద్రోహేనా అని సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులను ఎమ్మెల్సీ కేఆర్ ఆమోస్ నిలదీశారు. శ్రీకృష్ణ కమిటీకి రిపోర్టు ఇచ్చేటప్పుటు విచక్షణ జ్ఞానాన్ని కోల్పోకూడదని.. ఇతర ప్రాంతాల వారిని కించపరచకూడదని అన్నారు.

మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకటరెడ్డి నల్లగొండలో మాట్లాడుతూ, డిసెంబర్ 9 ప్రకటనకు సీమాంధ్ర నేతలు కట్టుబడి ఉండాలన్నారు. ఎంపీ గుత్తా సుఖేందర్‌రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ తెలంగాణ ప్రజలను వంచించే విధంగా సీమాంధ్ర నేతలు సమైక్యాంధ్ర ఉద్యమం చేపడుతున్నారని విమర్శించారు.

న్యూఢిల్లీ: తెలంగాణ వాదులను దేశద్రోహులుగా పేర్కొన్న సీమాంధ్ర నేతలను, మంత్రులను తెలంగాణ ద్రోహులుగా ప్రకటించి, వారిని తెలంగాణ ప్రాంతంలో తిరగనీయకుండా చేస్తామని నిజామాబాద్ ఎంపీ మధుయాష్కీ హెచ్చరించారు. వారి ఫోటోలతో పోస్టర్లు వేసి, తెలంగాణ మొత్తం ప్రచారం చేస్తామన్నారు. శనివారం ఆయన న్యూఢిల్లీలో విలేఖరులతో మాట్లాడారు.

నిజాం పాలన నుంచి తెలంగాణ విముక్తికి పోరాడిన వారందరూ దేశ భక్తులేనని, సాయుధ పోరాటంలో పాల్గొన్న వారందరూ స్వతంత్ర సేనానులేనన్నారు. ఉద్యమాన్ని కాశ్మీరు తీవ్రవాదంతో పోల్చడం శోచనీయమన్నారు. తెలంగాణ లో ఉంటూ, కాంట్రాక్టులు, వ్యాపారాలు చేసుకుంటూ వనరులను కొల్లగొడుతున్న వారందరూ వారి వ్యాపారానికే పరిమితమై ఉండాలని, లేకుంటే తెలంగాణ ప్రజలంతా ఏకమై బుద్ధి చెబుతారని హెచ్చరించారు. ఉద్యమాన్ని కించపరిచే నాయకులకు, వ్యాపారవేత్తలకు తెలంగాణలోని ప్రతి పౌరుడు రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా ఒక్కటై బుద్ధి చెప్పాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

OUJAC calls for boycott of film ‘Badmash’

Sensing that picturization of the songs in the Badmash would hurt the sentiments of Telangana people, OUJAC has called for the boycott of the film. The movie has been directed by Vandemataram Srinivas. Calling him as a Telangana ‘drohi’, the JAC opined that Vandemataram Srinivas has least regard for the aspirations of Telangana people

Srinivas was quick in responding to save his film and said that there is nothing in the film that is anti-Telangana or against the Telangana movement. He said that he is ready to sit and discuss the issue with JAC and agreed to withdraw any ‘objectionable’ scenes from the film.

Outcome is yet to be seen.

Telangana PRP group forms “Praja Telangana Samithi”.

Leaders of the Praja Rajyam party from the Telangana region formed a separate entity, Praja Telangana Samithi, today. At a meeting here, the leaders, who have resigned recently in protest against party president Chiranjeevi’s decision to stand by integrated State, decided to float a new party and adopted a resolution.

The leaders adopted the party flag and constituted an executive committee. According to PTS leader VGR Naragoni, the party flag bears the slogans ‘Jai Telangana’ and ‘Jai Samajika Nyayam’ and a map of the Telangana region against a parrot-green background.

He told reporters that C Karunakar Reddy would be the president, P Karuna the vice-president, and Dr Venkat, Sivakumar Lingayath, Rajamouli and Raji Reddy the members of the Political Affairs Committee of which would be the chairman. Six secretaries and presidents for nine district units were also appointed, Naragoni said.

Giving details of the resolutions adopted at the meeting, he said the meeting asked Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu and Praja Rajyam president K Chiranjeevi to quit politics for going back on their promise on Telangana, and urged the Centre to expedite the process of consultations on Telangana within a time-frame.

The new party decided to join the all-party JAC formed yesterday to spearhead to Telangana movement, appealed to the State Government to drop the cases on students and condemned the attack on TD legislator N Janardhan Reddy on the OU campus. It urged the people of coastal and Rayalaseema people to suggest a compensation package for their region in the case of State’s division. The meeting mourned the students who lost their lives fighting for the Telangana cause, Naragoni said. Chiranjeevi dreams of a comeback in Telangana.

Prajarajyam president K Chiranjeevi now has a new stand on Telangana. They would now abide by any decision announced by the Srikrishna Committee. With this new stand, Chiranjeevi is dreaming of building up the party from scratch in the Telangana region.

What Chiranjeevi fails to understand is that his party has almost vanished in the Telangana region. When a biggie like TDP is trying to save its face, he stands no where.

Interestingly, a member of the the party’s so called political affairs committee said, “We have been receiving queries from young people, both men and women, about the party’s future plans for Telangana. Some of them were keen to be part of a fresh exercise to rebuild the party in Telangana districts. Though we did not take up the matter seriously in the initial days, we have decided to discuss the matter elaborately in the party forum. As part of the initiative, the party president will interact with a few leaders from Telangana and hear them personally on Tuesday before announcing the party’s agenda for the region. This meeting is a new beginning for the party, especially after the December 9 crisis.”

Wow. Thats news. we would definitely like to know who they are, if only they exist. Most of the party cadre has either joined TRS, or TDP while some moved to Congress. PRP’s offices that mushroomed during last elections do not even exist anymore.

There is nothing wrong in dreaming. But, dream what you can achieve.

ఆత్మహత్యలు వినాశాకరమైనవి

తెలంగాణా ప్రజలు మళ్ళీ ఇంకొకసారి నిరూపించుకున్నారు స్వరాష్ట్రం కోసం వారి ప్రతిబద్ధతను.ఇపుడు సెంటిమెంటు గా పేర్కొనబడే ఆకాంక్ష ఒక బలమైన ప్రజాస్వామికమైన, రాజ్యాంగానికి లోబడిన డిమాండుగా పరిణమించింది. ఏ ప్రజాస్వామిక వ్యవస్థ ఈ డిమాండును కాదనలేదు.

ఈ ఉద్యమాన్ని, ఈ జనచైతన్యాన్ని కాదంటే, ఇక ఇది ప్రజాస్వామ్యమే కాజాలదు. ఒక రాష్ట్రం, వారి అభ్యుదయం కోసం స్వయంపాలనకోసం తిరిగి ఏర్పడాలనేది వారి ప్రఘాడ ఆకాంక్ష. తెలగాణ్యులు అమాయకులే కావొచ్చు, కాని అవివేకులుమాత్రం కాజాలరు. మళ్ళీ ఆ సీమాంధ్రుల తీపిమాటల బుట్టలో పడలేరు. నూటికి నూరు శాతం గెలిచారంటే అది ఒక గొప్పఐక్యతా ప్రదర్శనే మరి.

ఉద్యమంలో ద్రోహులెప్పుడూ ఉంటారు. వాళ్లకు కూడా బుద్ధి వస్తుందని ఆశిద్దాము.

అయితే, యువకులు భావోద్రేకాలకు లోనయి అనవసరంగా ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడటం చాల బాధాకరమైన విషయము. అసలు తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రం వాళ్ళకోసమే కదా మనందరం కోరేది. వాళ్ళు అనుభవించని తెలంగాణా మనకెందుకు. మా జీవితాలు ఎట్లాగో గడిపాం. వివక్షకు, శోషణకు, అపహాస్యాలకు, హేళనకు గురయ్యాము. మన పిల్లలు అట్లాంటి బాధలు అనుభవించ వద్దు. నిరాశ నిస్పృహను కలిగిస్తుంది. అక్కడినుంచి ఎన్నో వికారాలు బయలుదేరుతాయి. ఒకానొక బలహీనక్షణములో బ్రతకడమే అనవసరమనిపిస్తుంది. ఆ భయంకర క్షణాలని అధిగమించాలి. దీనికి మంచి ఉదాహరణ రామాయణంలో ఉంది. సీతమ్మను వెతికి వెతికి అలసిపోయి నిరాశకు గురి అవుతాడు హనుమంతుడు.

సీతమ్మ కనపడలేదని ఎట్లా చెప్పగలడు రామునికి. ఆ పని చేయలేడు కాబట్టి, ప్రాణాలను వదిలేందుకు నిర్ణయిస్తాడు. అయితే ఆ క్షణంలో ఒక ధైర్య కిరణం అతని మదిలో వెలుగుతుంది. నేనైతే చచ్చిపోతాను, కాని ఆ తర్వాత పర్యవసానంగా ఏమౌతుంది అనికొంచెం సావధానంగా ఆలోచిస్తాడు మన మారుతి.

అతనికి ఎంతో దారుణమైన చిత్రం గోచరిస్తుంది. 'నాకోసం వేచి వేచి రాముడు ఖిన్నుడౌతాడు . సీత జాడతెలియక శ్రీరాముడు ప్రాణాలు వదలడం ఖాయం. అది చూసి లక్ష్మణుడు కూడాచనిపోతాడు. ఇదంతా చూసి కిష్కింద రాజు, రాముని మిత్రుడు, సుగ్రీవుడు కూడా ఏదో చేసుకోరానిది చేసుకుంటాడు. ఆతర్వాత వానర రాజ్యం నశిస్తుంది. అయోధ్యలో అల్లకల్లోలం చెలరేగుతుంది. ఇట్లాగ వినాశ పరంపర సాగిపోతుంది. ఇవన్నీ నా ఆత్మహత్య వల్ల కలిగే ఉపద్రవాలు. కాబట్టి, ప్రాణం విలువైనది.

ఓపికతో నిష్టతో ప్రయత్నిస్తే లక్ష్యం తప్పక నెరవేరుతుంది' అని అనుకొని ఆత్మహత్యా ప్రయత్నాన్ని విరమించుకుంటాడు హనుమంతుడు. "వినాశే బహవో దోషా జీవన్ ప్రాప్నోతి భద్రకం, తస్మాత్ ప్రాణాన్ ధరిష్యామి ధ్రువో జీవతి సంగమః " (సుందర కాండ) ఆత్మహత్య వినాశాకరమైనది. అది పాపకార్యం కూడాను. ఆత్మహత్య ఎన్నో దోషాలకు దారి తీస్తుంది. బ్రతికి ఉంటే ఎన్నడో ఒకనాడు తప్పక మనలక్ష్యం నెరవేరుతుంది.

ప్రాణాలను కాపాడుకొని ఉద్యమించడమే అన్నివిధాల శ్రేయస్కరం. అని నిర్ణయించుకొని కృతార్థుడౌతాడు మన వీరహనుమాన్. ఆయనే మనకు ఆదర్శం, మార్గదర్శి. ఆత్మహత్యకు పాల్పడే వారు నరకలోకాలను అనుభవిస్తారని ఉపనిషత్తులు కూడా చెప్తున్నాయి. "అసుర్యా నామ తే లోకా అంధేన తమసా ఆవృతా: , తాం తే ప్రేత్యాభిగఛ్చంతి యే కే చ ఆత్మహనో జనా:" (శ్రీ ఈశోపనిషత్తు) అంటే ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్న జనులు, అంధకారము అజ్ఞానములచేత ఆవరింపబడిన అసుర (నరక) లోకాలను పొందుతున్నారు. అందుచేత -

"ఆత్మత్యాగమొద్దు తెలగాణ వీరుడా, మ
హాత్ములవోలె పోరు సల్పుదాం మనము, దు
రాత్ముల నికృష్ట నీతులను దునుమాడి, విజి
తాత్ములమై విరుచుకుపడదాము తుదకు."

ఈ సందర్భంలో ఒక ఉర్దూ కవి అన్న మాటలు గుర్తుకొస్తున్నాయి. थर थराते हैं अन्धेरे तो लरज़ थे क्यों हों? हर नयी सुबह कि तकलीक यूहीं होती है। నిరాశ చీకట్లు కమ్ముకుంటుంటే అట్లా ఎందుకు వణికిపోతావు మిత్రమా? ప్రతి ఉషోదయం ముందు ఇలాగే ఉంటుంది తంతు. ఇంకొక గొప్ప ఉర్దూ కవి ఇక్బాల్ ఏమంటాడో చూడండి. अगर उस्मानियों पर (read तेलंगानियों पर) खोय-ए- ग़म टूटा तो क्या ग़म है? के खून-ए-सद हज़ार अंजुम से होती है सहर पैदा. (తెలంగాణీయుల) ఉద్యమకారుల మీద ఎన్ని కష్టాల పర్వతాలు విరుచుకుపడ్డా అవేమి భరించరాని బాధలు కావు. వాళ్ళు భయపడరు. కారణం, అసంఖ్యాక నక్షత్రాలు రాలిన తర్వాతే కదా శుభోదయం ప్రాప్తిస్తుంది.

అందుచేత తెలంగాణా వీరులారా, చచ్చి సాధించేది ఏమి ఉండదు. బ్రతికిఉన్నవారికే అన్నీ ప్రాప్తిస్తాయి. ఈ సత్యాన్ని గుర్తెరిగి ఓపిక సంయమనం ధైర్యంతో ముందుకు సాగుదాం. ఆత్మహత్య మహా పాపం, ఆశుభకరం. మనను కన్నవారికి ఆప్తులకు శోకాన్ని మిగిల్చిన వారమవుతాము. అలాంటి దురాలోచనలకు దూరంగా ఉండాలి. ఎవరైనా ఈ దారుణమైన విషయాన్ని చర్చిస్తే ఆ ధోరణి వారిలో గమనిస్తే అందులో దాగిఉన్న దుష్పరిణామాలను వారికి వివరించి ఆ చెడుమార్గము నుంచి వారిని తప్పించాలి. ఇది అందరి కర్తవ్యం.
