Political JAC to comeout with a list of Andhra firms to be boycotted.
Telangana JAC convener, Prof. Kodandaram has met the TDP leaders from the Telangana region today. He discussed with them the future course of action of the Telangana JAC. On the occasion, Kodandaram said that the Telangana activists would intensify their agitation from days to come.
He also announced that he would release a list of firms and industries owned by Andhra people to be boycotted by the Telangana people. He said that the list would only have those firms or industries which are owned by people who are known to be against formation of the Telangana state.
He however added that the Telangana activists would not attack these firms.
“We will boycott the services, goods and commodities produced by the rich people from non-Telangana regions who are opposing separate Telangana. We have no issues with the common people whatever their views are on the Telangana demand,”
Meanwhile, leaders of the state-run Singareni Collieries workers unions’ said they have decided to postpone a 48-hour strike scheduled to begin tomorrow as per the advice given by the JAC. The new date will be announced later.
