ఆత్మహత్యలు వద్దు... బ్రతికి తెలంగాణ సాధిద్దాం... తెలంగాణ సామూహిక ప్రతిజ్ఞలు

హైదరాబాద్, ఆగష్టు 18 :తెలంగాణ కోసం ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడడాన్ని వ్యతిరేకిస్తూ హైదరాబాద్ మరియు పలు జిల్లాలో బుధవారం ఉదయం విద్యార్థులు , నేతలు , పలు విద్యాసంఘాలు, మేధావులు సామూహిక ప్రతిజ్ఞలు చేశారు.

ఉస్మానియా విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో భారీగా విద్యార్థులు తరలివచ్చి సూసైడ్స్ చేసుకోవద్దు, బతికి సాధిద్దాం అంటూ సామూహిక ప్రతిజ్ఞలు చేశారు.ఈ సందర్భంగా ఉస్మానియా యూనివర్శిటీ పరిసర ప్రాంతాల్లో ట్రాఫిక్‌ను నియంత్రించారు. క్యాంపస్ లోపలికి బస్సులను అనుమతించలేదు. ఈరోజును ఆత్మహత్యల వ్యతిరేక దినంగా పాటించాలని టీఆర్ఎస్ అధ్యక్షుడు కె. చంద్రశేఖరరావు సూచించారు.

హైదరాబాద్, ఆగస్టు 7 : ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ కోరేవారు దేశద్రోహులంటూ శ్రీకృష్ణ కమిటీ ఎదుట చెప్పిన సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులపై తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు తీవ్రస్థాయిలో విరుచుకుపడ్డారు. వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలంటూ అధిష్ఠానానికి ఫిర్యాదు చేసేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్నారు. పొన్నాల లక్ష్మయ్య సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులపై విరుచుకుపడ్డారు. దీనిపై అధిష్ఠానానికి ఫిర్యాదు చేస్తానని తన సన్నిహితుల వద్ద పేర్కొన్నారు.

'మా ప్రాంతాన్ని మాకు వదిలి పెట్టండి మహాప్రభో అంటే దేశద్రోహమా? బలవంతాన తాళి కడతాం.. మీరు కట్టించుకోండి అన్నట్లుగా ఉంది. కలిసి ఉంచాలంటే తప్పేమీ లేదు. కానీ.. దేశద్రోహం అనడం సరికాదు. తెలంగాణ గురించి మాట్లాడేందుకు వారికేం హక్కుంది?' అని డీకే అరుణ ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తంచేశారు. 'తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం 55 ఏళ్ల పోరాటం. ప్రజల మనోభావాలను, ఆకాంక్షలను అర్థం చేసుకోవాలి.

ఇలా కించపరచడం వారి ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని దెబ్బతీయడమే. సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులు తక్షణమే క్షమాపణ చెప్పాలి' అని మంత్రి నాగేందర్ అన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్‌లో రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు వి.హనుమంతరావు శనివారం విలేఖరులతో మాట్లాడుతూ .. సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులు తాము ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రాన్ని కోరడమే భారతజాతిని అవమానించినట్లు.. దేశద్రోహానికి పాల్పడినట్లుగా నివేదికలు ఇవ్వడం ఏంటని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తంచేశారు. తమను దేశ ద్రోహులుగా చిత్రీకరించినప్పుడు తమతో ఎలా ఉండగలరని నిలదీశారు.

1956లోనే తాము అమాయకులమని.. తెలివైన సీమాం«ద్రులతో కలసి బతకలేమని తేల్చి చెప్పామన్నారు. విద్యాబుద్ధులు నేర్పించి ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు కల్పిస్తామని హామీలు గుప్పించారని అన్నారు. తమను వదిలేయాలని ప్రాధేయపడినా, అన్ని సదుపాయాలూ కల్పిస్తామని నమ్మబలికారని అన్నారు. సీమాంధ్ర ప్రాంతంవారు సీఎంలుగా పాలించి.. తెలంగాణ ప్రాంతానికి తీవ్ర అన్యాయం చేశారని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. తమ పాలన తాము చేసుకుంటామని.. ఇకనైనా విడిచిపెట్టాలని వీహెచ్ అన్నారు.

ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రం కోరేవారు దేశ ద్రోహులని సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులు పేర్కొనడం ద్వారా రాజ్యాంగానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా వ్యవహరించారని కాంగ్రెస్ సీనియర్ నేత పాల్వాయి గోవర్దన్‌రెడ్డి పేర్కొన్నారు. గత ఏడాది డిసెంబర్ 9న తెలంగాణ ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభమైందంటూ ప్రకటించిన కేంద్ర హోం మంత్రి చిదంబరం కూడా దేశద్రోహేనా అని సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులను ఎమ్మెల్సీ కేఆర్ ఆమోస్ నిలదీశారు. శ్రీకృష్ణ కమిటీకి రిపోర్టు ఇచ్చేటప్పుటు విచక్షణ జ్ఞానాన్ని కోల్పోకూడదని.. ఇతర ప్రాంతాల వారిని కించపరచకూడదని అన్నారు.

మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకటరెడ్డి నల్లగొండలో మాట్లాడుతూ, డిసెంబర్ 9 ప్రకటనకు సీమాంధ్ర నేతలు కట్టుబడి ఉండాలన్నారు. ఎంపీ గుత్తా సుఖేందర్‌రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ తెలంగాణ ప్రజలను వంచించే విధంగా సీమాంధ్ర నేతలు సమైక్యాంధ్ర ఉద్యమం చేపడుతున్నారని విమర్శించారు.

న్యూఢిల్లీ: తెలంగాణ వాదులను దేశద్రోహులుగా పేర్కొన్న సీమాంధ్ర నేతలను, మంత్రులను తెలంగాణ ద్రోహులుగా ప్రకటించి, వారిని తెలంగాణ ప్రాంతంలో తిరగనీయకుండా చేస్తామని నిజామాబాద్ ఎంపీ మధుయాష్కీ హెచ్చరించారు. వారి ఫోటోలతో పోస్టర్లు వేసి, తెలంగాణ మొత్తం ప్రచారం చేస్తామన్నారు. శనివారం ఆయన న్యూఢిల్లీలో విలేఖరులతో మాట్లాడారు.

నిజాం పాలన నుంచి తెలంగాణ విముక్తికి పోరాడిన వారందరూ దేశ భక్తులేనని, సాయుధ పోరాటంలో పాల్గొన్న వారందరూ స్వతంత్ర సేనానులేనన్నారు. ఉద్యమాన్ని కాశ్మీరు తీవ్రవాదంతో పోల్చడం శోచనీయమన్నారు. తెలంగాణ లో ఉంటూ, కాంట్రాక్టులు, వ్యాపారాలు చేసుకుంటూ వనరులను కొల్లగొడుతున్న వారందరూ వారి వ్యాపారానికే పరిమితమై ఉండాలని, లేకుంటే తెలంగాణ ప్రజలంతా ఏకమై బుద్ధి చెబుతారని హెచ్చరించారు. ఉద్యమాన్ని కించపరిచే నాయకులకు, వ్యాపారవేత్తలకు తెలంగాణలోని ప్రతి పౌరుడు రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా ఒక్కటై బుద్ధి చెప్పాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

OUJAC calls for boycott of film ‘Badmash’

Sensing that picturization of the songs in the Badmash would hurt the sentiments of Telangana people, OUJAC has called for the boycott of the film. The movie has been directed by Vandemataram Srinivas. Calling him as a Telangana ‘drohi’, the JAC opined that Vandemataram Srinivas has least regard for the aspirations of Telangana people

Srinivas was quick in responding to save his film and said that there is nothing in the film that is anti-Telangana or against the Telangana movement. He said that he is ready to sit and discuss the issue with JAC and agreed to withdraw any ‘objectionable’ scenes from the film.

Outcome is yet to be seen.

Telangana PRP group forms “Praja Telangana Samithi”.

Leaders of the Praja Rajyam party from the Telangana region formed a separate entity, Praja Telangana Samithi, today. At a meeting here, the leaders, who have resigned recently in protest against party president Chiranjeevi’s decision to stand by integrated State, decided to float a new party and adopted a resolution.

The leaders adopted the party flag and constituted an executive committee. According to PTS leader VGR Naragoni, the party flag bears the slogans ‘Jai Telangana’ and ‘Jai Samajika Nyayam’ and a map of the Telangana region against a parrot-green background.

He told reporters that C Karunakar Reddy would be the president, P Karuna the vice-president, and Dr Venkat, Sivakumar Lingayath, Rajamouli and Raji Reddy the members of the Political Affairs Committee of which would be the chairman. Six secretaries and presidents for nine district units were also appointed, Naragoni said.

Giving details of the resolutions adopted at the meeting, he said the meeting asked Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu and Praja Rajyam president K Chiranjeevi to quit politics for going back on their promise on Telangana, and urged the Centre to expedite the process of consultations on Telangana within a time-frame.

The new party decided to join the all-party JAC formed yesterday to spearhead to Telangana movement, appealed to the State Government to drop the cases on students and condemned the attack on TD legislator N Janardhan Reddy on the OU campus. It urged the people of coastal and Rayalaseema people to suggest a compensation package for their region in the case of State’s division. The meeting mourned the students who lost their lives fighting for the Telangana cause, Naragoni said. Chiranjeevi dreams of a comeback in Telangana.

Prajarajyam president K Chiranjeevi now has a new stand on Telangana. They would now abide by any decision announced by the Srikrishna Committee. With this new stand, Chiranjeevi is dreaming of building up the party from scratch in the Telangana region.

What Chiranjeevi fails to understand is that his party has almost vanished in the Telangana region. When a biggie like TDP is trying to save its face, he stands no where.

Interestingly, a member of the the party’s so called political affairs committee said, “We have been receiving queries from young people, both men and women, about the party’s future plans for Telangana. Some of them were keen to be part of a fresh exercise to rebuild the party in Telangana districts. Though we did not take up the matter seriously in the initial days, we have decided to discuss the matter elaborately in the party forum. As part of the initiative, the party president will interact with a few leaders from Telangana and hear them personally on Tuesday before announcing the party’s agenda for the region. This meeting is a new beginning for the party, especially after the December 9 crisis.”

Wow. Thats news. we would definitely like to know who they are, if only they exist. Most of the party cadre has either joined TRS, or TDP while some moved to Congress. PRP’s offices that mushroomed during last elections do not even exist anymore.

There is nothing wrong in dreaming. But, dream what you can achieve.

ఆత్మహత్యలు వినాశాకరమైనవి

తెలంగాణా ప్రజలు మళ్ళీ ఇంకొకసారి నిరూపించుకున్నారు స్వరాష్ట్రం కోసం వారి ప్రతిబద్ధతను.ఇపుడు సెంటిమెంటు గా పేర్కొనబడే ఆకాంక్ష ఒక బలమైన ప్రజాస్వామికమైన, రాజ్యాంగానికి లోబడిన డిమాండుగా పరిణమించింది. ఏ ప్రజాస్వామిక వ్యవస్థ ఈ డిమాండును కాదనలేదు.

ఈ ఉద్యమాన్ని, ఈ జనచైతన్యాన్ని కాదంటే, ఇక ఇది ప్రజాస్వామ్యమే కాజాలదు. ఒక రాష్ట్రం, వారి అభ్యుదయం కోసం స్వయంపాలనకోసం తిరిగి ఏర్పడాలనేది వారి ప్రఘాడ ఆకాంక్ష. తెలగాణ్యులు అమాయకులే కావొచ్చు, కాని అవివేకులుమాత్రం కాజాలరు. మళ్ళీ ఆ సీమాంధ్రుల తీపిమాటల బుట్టలో పడలేరు. నూటికి నూరు శాతం గెలిచారంటే అది ఒక గొప్పఐక్యతా ప్రదర్శనే మరి.

అయితే, యువకులు భావోద్రేకాలకు లోనయి అనవసరంగా ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడటం చాల బాధాకరమైన విషయము. అసలు తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రం వాళ్ళకోసమే కదా మనందరం కోరేది. వాళ్ళు అనుభవించని తెలంగాణా మనకెందుకు. మా జీవితాలు ఎట్లాగో గడిపాం. వివక్షకు, శోషణకు, అపహాస్యాలకు, హేళనకు గురయ్యాము. మన పిల్లలు అట్లాంటి బాధలు అనుభవించ వద్దు. నిరాశ నిస్పృహను కలిగిస్తుంది. అక్కడినుంచి ఎన్నో వికారాలు బయలుదేరుతాయి. ఒకానొక బలహీనక్షణములో బ్రతకడమే అనవసరమనిపిస్తుంది. ఆ భయంకర క్షణాలని అధిగమించాలి. దీనికి మంచి ఉదాహరణ రామాయణంలో ఉంది. సీతమ్మను వెతికి వెతికి అలసిపోయి నిరాశకు గురి అవుతాడు హనుమంతుడు.

సీతమ్మ కనపడలేదని ఎట్లా చెప్పగలడు రామునికి. ఆ పని చేయలేడు కాబట్టి, ప్రాణాలను వదిలేందుకు నిర్ణయిస్తాడు. అయితే ఆ క్షణంలో ఒక ధైర్య కిరణం అతని మదిలో వెలుగుతుంది. నేనైతే చచ్చిపోతాను, కాని ఆ తర్వాత పర్యవసానంగా ఏమౌతుంది అనికొంచెం సావధానంగా ఆలోచిస్తాడు మన మారుతి.

అతనికి ఎంతో దారుణమైన చిత్రం గోచరిస్తుంది. 'నాకోసం వేచి వేచి రాముడు ఖిన్నుడౌతాడు . సీత జాడతెలియక శ్రీరాముడు ప్రాణాలు వదలడం ఖాయం. అది చూసి లక్ష్మణుడు కూడాచనిపోతాడు. ఇదంతా చూసి కిష్కింద రాజు, రాముని మిత్రుడు, సుగ్రీవుడు కూడా ఏదో చేసుకోరానిది చేసుకుంటాడు. ఆతర్వాత వానర రాజ్యం నశిస్తుంది. అయోధ్యలో అల్లకల్లోలం చెలరేగుతుంది. ఇట్లాగ వినాశ పరంపర సాగిపోతుంది. ఇవన్నీ నా ఆత్మహత్య వల్ల కలిగే ఉపద్రవాలు. కాబట్టి, ప్రాణం విలువైనది.

ఓపికతో నిష్టతో ప్రయత్నిస్తే లక్ష్యం తప్పక నెరవేరుతుంది' అని అనుకొని ఆత్మహత్యా ప్రయత్నాన్ని విరమించుకుంటాడు హనుమంతుడు. "వినాశే బహవో దోషా జీవన్ ప్రాప్నోతి భద్రకం, తస్మాత్ ప్రాణాన్ ధరిష్యామి ధ్రువో జీవతి సంగమః " (సుందర కాండ) ఆత్మహత్య వినాశాకరమైనది. అది పాపకార్యం కూడాను. ఆత్మహత్య ఎన్నో దోషాలకు దారి తీస్తుంది. బ్రతికి ఉంటే ఎన్నడో ఒకనాడు తప్పక మనలక్ష్యం నెరవేరుతుంది.

ప్రాణాలను కాపాడుకొని ఉద్యమించడమే అన్నివిధాల శ్రేయస్కరం. అని నిర్ణయించుకొని కృతార్థుడౌతాడు మన వీరహనుమాన్. ఆయనే మనకు ఆదర్శం, మార్గదర్శి. ఆత్మహత్యకు పాల్పడే వారు నరకలోకాలను అనుభవిస్తారని ఉపనిషత్తులు కూడా చెప్తున్నాయి. "అసుర్యా నామ తే లోకా అంధేన తమసా ఆవృతా: , తాం తే ప్రేత్యాభిగఛ్చంతి యే కే చ ఆత్మహనో జనా:" (శ్రీ ఈశోపనిషత్తు) అంటే ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్న జనులు, అంధకారము అజ్ఞానములచేత ఆవరింపబడిన అసుర (నరక) లోకాలను పొందుతున్నారు. అందుచేత -

"ఆత్మత్యాగమొద్దు తెలగాణ వీరుడా, మ
హాత్ములవోలె పోరు సల్పుదాం మనము, దు
రాత్ముల నికృష్ట నీతులను దునుమాడి, విజి
తాత్ములమై విరుచుకుపడదాము తుదకు."

ఈ సందర్భంలో ఒక ఉర్దూ కవి అన్న మాటలు గుర్తుకొస్తున్నాయి. थर थराते हैं अन्धेरे तो लरज़ थे क्यों हों? हर नयी सुबह कि तकलीक यूहीं होती है। నిరాశ చీకట్లు కమ్ముకుంటుంటే అట్లా ఎందుకు వణికిపోతావు మిత్రమా? ప్రతి ఉషోదయం ముందు ఇలాగే ఉంటుంది తంతు. ఇంకొక గొప్ప ఉర్దూ కవి ఇక్బాల్ ఏమంటాడో చూడండి. अगर उस्मानियों पर (read तेलंगानियों पर) खोय-ए- ग़म टूटा तो क्या ग़म है? के खून-ए-सद हज़ार अंजुम से होती है सहर पैदा. (తెలంగాణీయుల) ఉద్యమకారుల మీద ఎన్ని కష్టాల పర్వతాలు విరుచుకుపడ్డా అవేమి భరించరాని బాధలు కావు. వాళ్ళు భయపడరు. కారణం, అసంఖ్యాక నక్షత్రాలు రాలిన తర్వాతే కదా శుభోదయం ప్రాప్తిస్తుంది.

అందుచేత తెలంగాణా వీరులారా, చచ్చి సాధించేది ఏమి ఉండదు. బ్రతికిఉన్నవారికే అన్నీ ప్రాప్తిస్తాయి. ఈ సత్యాన్ని గుర్తెరిగి ఓపిక సంయమనం ధైర్యంతో ముందుకు సాగుదాం. ఆత్మహత్య మహా పాపం, ఆశుభకరం. మనను కన్నవారికి ఆప్తులకు శోకాన్ని మిగిల్చిన వారమవుతాము. అలాంటి దురాలోచనలకు దూరంగా ఉండాలి. ఎవరైనా ఈ దారుణమైన విషయాన్ని చర్చిస్తే ఆ ధోరణి వారిలో గమనిస్తే అందులో దాగిఉన్న దుష్పరిణామాలను వారికి వివరించి ఆ చెడుమార్గము నుంచి వారిని తప్పించాలి. ఇది అందరి కర్తవ్యం.

The Whole of Telangana is Backward – Union Minister Confirms in the Lok Sabha

After the confessions of Seemandhra people before the Sri Krishna Commission that they want united Andhra Pradesh or the status quo to be maintained for the state as, if the state of Telangana is carved out, then the Seemandhra people will face acute problems in terms of acquiring jobs and water which they are getting in and from Telangana.

Now the union minister of state for rural development, Mr Pradeep Jain Aditya, in the Lok Sabha on Monday 9th August had given reply to a question on the allotment of funds to backward districts, where he said 9 Districts of Telangana are the most backward out of total 13 backward districts of Andhra Pradesh.

This has irked the leaders from the Coastal Andhra who rubbishes the backwardness claims of Telanganites.

This reply by the union minister in the Lok Sabha is a confirmation for the grievances of Telangana people for decades that the region is utterly backward and the state government not given adequate importance to the region.

The minister, in a written reply to Mr. Suresh K. Taware, provided particulars of the districts identified to address the problem of regional imbalances under ‘Backward Regions Grant Fund (BRGF)’ initiated in 2006-07.

In Andhra Pradesh, 13 districts have been identified on the recommendation of the state government. They included 9 out of 10 in Telangana, 3 out of 4 in the Rayalaseema and 1 out of 9 in the Coastal Andhra region.

Dr. Manda Jagannadam, Congress MP from Nagarkurnool, said the Centre itself had now made it clear that except for Hyderabad, all the remaining districts in Telangana are backward. “It should be an eye opener for those criticising the demand of separate Telangana,’’ he said.
Mr Jagannadam also said Telangana Congress leaders will submit a fresh memorandum to Justice Srikrishna Committee with the details provided by Union Government.

Mr K.K. Government’s reply should be the criterion for declaring separate statehood. However, the panchayati raj and rural development minister, Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana, said scanty rainfall, and agriculture loss during seven consecutive years of severe drought under Telugu Desam rule were the criteria for selection of backward districts.

The union Government had agreed to provide special assistance under the BRGF scheme every year to a tune of Rs 348 crore, said the minister.

Political analysers say this could be an indicator of the union government that they are preparing the ground for the creation of separate state, and this report can be used as a basis for that.

హైదరాబాద్, ఆగస్టు 9 : తెలంగాణ కోసం గుజ్జర్ల తరహా పోరాటం చేయబోతున్నట్లు టీఆర్ఎస్ అధ్యక్షుడు కె.చంద్రశేఖర్‌రావు ప్రకటించారు. తమ పిలుపు కోసమే అంతా ఎ దురు చూస్తున్నారని చెప్పారు. 'శ్రీకృష్ణ కమిటీ డిసెంబర్ 31లోగా నివేదిక ఇచ్చిన తర్వాత ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్ర ఆకాంక్షను సాకారం చేసుకోవడానికి పెద్ద ఉద్యమానికి తెర తీయబోతున్నాం. ఇందుకు అన్ని వర్గాలు సిద్ధమవుతున్నాయి.

పార్టీ శ్రేణులు కూడా సన్నద్ధం కావాలి' అని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.ఉప ఎన్నికల ఫలితాల తర్వాత తొలిసారిగా పార్టీ రాష్ట్ర కార్యవర్గ సమావేశం సోమవారం ఇక్కడ తెలంగాణ భవన్‌లో కేసీఆర్ అధ్యక్షతన జరిగింది. ఇందులో ఎంపీ విజయశాంతి, టీఆర్ఎస్ఎల్పీ నేత ఈటెల రాజేందర్, ఎమ్మెల్సీ నారదాసు లక్ష్మణ్‌రావు ఇతర ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, పొలిట్‌బ్యూరో సభ్యులు, జిల్లా అధ్యక్షులు, జిల్లా, నియోజకవర్గ ఇన్‌చార్జులతో పాటు, ప్రత్యేక ఆహ్వానితులుగా విద్యార్థి నాయకులు బాల్క సుమన్, కిశోర్ పాల్గొన్నారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా కేసీఆర్ మాట్లాడుతూ పార్టీ విద్యార్థి విభాగం ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఈ ఏడాది డిసెంబర్‌లో 10 లక్షల మంది విద్యార్థులతో భారీ సభను వరంగల్‌లో నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. జంట నగరాల్లోనూ తెలంగాణ జేగంటలు మోగుతున్నాయ ని, ఈ విషయాన్ని తాను బోనాల పండుగలో స్వయంగా చూశానని చెప్పా రు.ఉప ఎన్నికల ఫలితాల ద్వారా ప్రజలు గుండెలు చీల్చి ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రం కా వాలని కోరితే.. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం మొద్దు నిద్ర పోతోందని ధ్వజమెత్తారు. 'ప్ర భుత్వాన్ని ఢీకొంటామని ఒకడు.. పడగొడతామని ఇంకొకడు.. నిలబెడుతామని మరొకడు అంటున్నారు. వీటి మధ్య ప్రజల సమస్యలను ప్రభుత్వం పట్టించుకోవటంలేదు' అని మండిపడ్డారు. ఎరువుల కొరత, అంటువ్యాధులపై ఆందోళనలు చేసి, ప్రభుత్వాన్ని నిలదీయాలని పార్టీ శ్రేణులను కోరారు.

సీమాంధ్ర మంత్రులకు అధికార మదం నెత్తికెక్కి తెలంగాణ డిమాండ్‌ను జాతి వ్యతిరేకమన్నారని కేసీఆర్ మరోసారి విరుచుకుపడ్డారు. మిగిలిన పా ర్టీలు నాటకాలు ఆడుతున్నాయంటూ చంద్రబాబు చేపట్టిన బాబ్లీ ఆందోళన ను ప్రస్తావించారు. 'నేను చంద్రబాబు తెరువుకే పోలేదు. ఆయన నన్ను ఖబడ్దార్ అన్నారు. నేను ఏం అన్నానని అలా అన్నారు? నాటకాలు ఆడారనే నే ను చెప్పాను. ఇది ఉన్నదే కదా?' అని ప్రశ్నించారు.

ఆదిలాబాద్ జిల్లాలో రూ. 300 కోట్లతో పూర్తయ్యే సదర్‌మాడ్ ప్రాజెక్టును పట్టించుకోకుండా, బాబ్లీ సమస్యపై మాట్లాడితే నమ్మాలా? అని మండిపడ్డారు. మేకవన్నె పులులను, తోడేలు తోలు కప్పుకున్న వారిని ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో ప్రజలు గుర్తించారని పరోక్షంగా చంద్రబాబుపై విరుచుకుపడ్డారు. రైతుల ప్రయోజనాల కోసం ఎస్సారెస్పీ ఆయకట్టు పరిధిలోని కరీంనగర్, వరంగల్ జిల్లాల్లో ఆందోళనలు చేయాలని, మంత్రులను ఘెరావ్ చేయాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.ఫలితాలు మాత్రం తాను చెప్పినట్లే వచ్చాయని, ప్రత్యర్థుల డిపాజిట్లు గల్లంతు అయ్యాయన్నారు. 'మళ్లీ ఎన్నికలొస్తే.. కేసీఆర్, విజయశాంతి తిరుగుతారు.. గెలుస్తామని అనుకోవద్దు.

పార్టీని బలోపేతం చేయండి. ప్రజల్లో మమేకం కండి. రాబోయే రోజుల్లో భూకంపం.. మహాయుద్ధం సృష్టించడానికి, మరింత ప దునుగా ముందుకెళ్లడానికి తయారుగా ఉండండి. అంతిమంగా రాష్ట్ర సాధన దిశగా వెళ్లాలి' అని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

Jagan is also a telangana traitor like YSR: Etela

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader in Assembly, Mr Etela Rajender, on Thursday accused the Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, being a “Telangana traitor” like his late father and chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Speaking to mediapersons, Mr Rajender said that there was no connection between Mr Jagan and the people of the Telangana region. Even if Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy or his god-fathers had canvassed during the just concluded elections, the people of the region would not have voted for both the ruling Congress and Telugu Desam party candidates, he said and ridiculed that the so-called “Odarpu Yatra” and other issues were utter trash.

The TRS leader also lashed out at the Telugu Desam party president, Mr N Chandrababu, for talking North Telangana and South Telangana like a mentally deranged person.

Pointing out that no person from Telangana region had ever been appointed chairman of the Higher Education Council after it came into being 22 years ago, Mr Rajender dubbed the tenure extension of Mr K C Reddy as atrocious. He demanded that the government at least now appoint an eligible Telangana person in the post.

The saga of Telangana By-election victory

The people of Telangana showed their will in the by-elections. It was a resounding victory for separate statehood demand of Telangana people. They have thoroughly trounced Congress Party and shown the exit door to TDP from Telangana. It was the righteous anger expressed by the people against the treachery of both Congress and Telugudesam to Telangana formation after 9 December, 2009. The by election is a huge milestone in the struggle of Telangana people for a separate statehood. The politics in Telangana region would not be same again after this by-election. The creation of ‘Telangana’ is a distinct possibility now. The victory belongs to all the sections of Telangana people.

The campaign for separate state has taekn a distinct turn after 9th December. The treachery of ‘seemandhrulu’ of Congress, TDP and PRP and the spineless surrender of both Congress and TDP leaders from Telangana to their party high commands have triggered spontaneous resentment from all the sections of Telangana people. It has launched one of the very glorious chapters of struggle for emanicipation from the organized exploitation of Telangana people. Many elements and groups have contributed to this incredible victory.

TRS had been the main political party in this campaign. It has seen many ups and downs during the last ten years. It has learned its lessons. Now in this episode the party has behaved very responsibly. KCR acted with statesmanship in getting the co-operation of all the sections of people involved in the campaign and provided much needed political direction to it.

JAC was the chief co-ordinator for this well orchestrated campaign. It was much maligned by the political factions in Congress and TDP, and Andhra ‘samaikya’ elements; There were some internal rumblings too, in the beginning. Yet, the JAC under the chairmanship of Prof.Kodandaram and with dedicated work of his associates, has weathered all of it and was very successful in forging the unity in its numerous constituents, and achieved much needed stability to the movement.

Students of Telangana have been the bulwark of the entire movement. They had retrieve d the movement which was getting fizzled out, owing to the machinations of the A.P.Government. Later provided the spearhead, to inspire different sections of the people and were successful in drawing them in to the movement and build to the present level. They have to work under the shadow of police, sacrificed hundreds of lives of their compatriots in the struggle. Yet, undeterred and with extra ordinary courage they have forged ahead and have provided the much needed dynamic momentum to the campaign. The unique quality of the present student leadership is its maturity in understanding the situation and acting with team effort. Their contribution in the victory of by-election is singular.

The intelligentsia of Telangana have risen to the occasion, their proactive participation in the struggle have educated the people on all aspects of exploitation of the region. The poets/writers have very vigorously brought out the language and cultural domination of Andhra people. The experts in the areas of Irrigation, power, education etc., have made public very eloquently the injustices done to Telangana area. Particularly the irrigation experts have exposed the falsehoods on irrigation development and irreparable loss caused to Telangana. The struggle launched by Advocates as part of this movement is unique in the history of India. Their commitment and articulation has immensely contributed to the victory in by-election. Various other professional and employee organizations also have contributed handsomely to the success of this campaign.

The part played by the village level JACs in concert with folk artists after 9December, 2009 was a very inspiring event in the progression of this movement. The folk artists (singers/poets)have galvanized the people’s opinion in their own inimitable style. The agony of people has formed the theme of their creative talents. It is incredible to see such a crop of brilliantly talented artists in rural Telangana. They have caught the imagination of people with their titillating performances. They were successful in bringing change both in the mind and heart of Telangaa people, for separate state.

The ‘Raj TV’ the one and only Telangana channel has provided the much needed platform for the movement. It has acted with professional acumen in using the political and cultural resources of the region and was the live wire force in forging the opinions of disparate elements in to one in Telangana Region. I t was able to counter the vicious campaign unleashed by andhra dominated TV channels. It has done yeoman service to the cause of Telangana in the very short time it is in existence. Its contribution to the movement is nothing but spectacular.

Although the by-election victory is a big mile stone in the struggle for state hood,yet, there is a long arduous journey ahead of us. The dubious record of Andhra politicians and Congress party in thwarting the efforts of our people at crucial stages, makes us to become more resolute . We should not do the mistake of resting on our success. We should fight with renewed vigour till we fully achieve our statehood. All of us should know that It is either now or never.
